Bradshaw Book V, pg. 132, 19 October 1742:  Ordered that a road be Clear'd & extended along the Chapple road to Rober Sander's old Plantation on Bernards road and from thence along the ridge between Deep Creek and Muddy Creek into Buckingame road and that James Daniel be Surveyor thereof & that the old road by Bradshaws be discontinued. 1, pg. 45

At a Court held for Goochland County the fifteenth day of September being the Third Tuesday in the Month Anno Domini MDCCXLVII
Prefent: Nicholas Davies, John Harris, James Barnes & William Miller Gent. Justices

Judith Bradshaw comes into Court and makes Oath that William Bradfhaw deceafed died without any Will so far as she knows or believes and on her Motion ~ Certificate is granted for her for obtaining letters of Administration in due form.  John Merriman and Benj.a Bradfhaw entring themselves Security for the same.
      Ordered that Benj.a Mofby, Hezekiah Mosby, Philip Poindexter and Samuel Scott or any three of them being first sworn before some Justice of the peace do appraife the Estate of William Bradfhaw deceased and that his Administratrix do return an Inventory thereof to the next Court.
