" John Bradshaw acknowledged his Deed of Lease and Release of Land (indented & sealed) to Edward Parham. Ordered that said Deeds be Recorded and then also Ann the Wife of the said John Bradshaw came into Court and being first privately examined as the Law directs, freely and voluntarily relinqueshed to the said Edward Parham her rights of Dower in and to the Land  . . . said Deeds mentioned, which is likewise Ordered to be Recorded."
