To all &c., Whereas., Now knowe yee that I the sd. Samuel Mathewes Esqr. &c. give & grant unto Robert Bradshawe three hundred forty five acres of Land scituate lying & being in the County of Northumberland abutting Northeast on Matopany River.  Northerly upon bank Yeocomocoe River.  North West upon the Land of Laurence Dameron.  Southeast upon the land of the sd. Robert Bradshawe & Southwest upon the Maine Woods, the said Land being formerly granted unto the sd. Robert Bradshawe by Pattent dated the 20th day of march 1652: To have & to hold &c., dated the 20th of November 1657

Knowe all men by these presents that I Robert Bradshawe doe hereby assigne all my right of this Pattent within menconed unto Edward Williams his heires or assignes.  In Witnes whereof I have hereunto sett my hand this Twenty one of J( ) 1660

Knowe all men by these presents that I Edward Williams doe hereby assigne all my right of this within mentioned Pattent unto James Claughton his heires or assignes, In Witnes whereof I have hereunto sett my hand this 21 of July 1660
