To all Whoever Now Know ye that I the said Sir William Berkeley give and grant unto Robt Bradshaw four hundred acres of Land Situate lying and being in the County of Northumberland abutting North Eaft Upon Mattapony River South Eaft Upon the Land of John Bennett South Weft and North weft Upon the Main woods, The Said Land being deed unto the Said Robt Bradfhaw by and for the transportation of Eight persons  To have and to hold  to be held to which payment is to be made Seven years after the first grant or Seating thereof  Dated the 18th of October 1651 Nicolas Brown, his wife, Kath.
