This Indenture Made this 25 day of February in the year of our Lord Christ One thousand seven hundred and ninety three Between John Bradshaw of Nottoway County of the one part and Thomas Bradshaw of Prince Edward County of the other part Witnefseth that the said John Bradshaw In for and in Consideration of the sum of thirty Pounds Current money of Virginia to him the said John Bradshaw by the said Thomas Bradshaw in hand paid the Receipt whereof he the said John Bradshaw doth hereby Acknowledge hath given granted Bargained & sold and by these presents doth give grant Bargain sell and Confirm unto the said Thomas Bradshaw and to his Heirs and Afsigns forever A Certain Tract or Parcel of Land Containing forty acres be the same more or lefs lying and Being in the county of Prince Edward and bounded as follower's Beginning At the Branch a Joining Marget Bradshaws line thence Along the said Bradshaw line to Ben Browns thence along Browns line to george Fords to Charles Gourdes thence along Gourdes Line to the beginning
to have and to hold the said Land and Premises together with all woods, Under woods, Ways, Waters houses fenses and all other Appertainances thereunto Belonging or in any wise Appertaining unto the said Thomas Bradshaw and to his Heirs and Afsigns forEver - and the said John Bradshaw for himself and his Heirs the above granted land and premises unto the said Thomas Bradshaw nad his heirs and Afsigns against him the said John Bradshaw and his Heirs or any other person or persons Claiming or to Claim by from or under him or any of them free and Clear from any Tithe or Dower or any other Incumberance what soever shall and will Warrant & by these Presents Ever Defend as Witnefs my hand and seal the day and Year above Ritten

At a court held for Prince Edward County April 15th 1799 this Indenture was Presented in Court & proven by the oaths of Jeremiah Bradshaw & John Holt two of the Witnefses thereto Winney, wife of the said Jno. Bradshaw being Privily examd.  relinquished her right to dower in the lands in the said deed mentioned and ordered to be Certifyed
