KNOW all Men by thefe Prefents, that we John   Bratcher & Drewry Shrewsbury
are held and firmly bound unto HENRY LEE, Efquire, Go- vernor, or Chief Magiftrate of the State of Virginia, in the fum of FIFTY POUNDS, current Money, to which Payment well and truly to be made to the faid HENRY LEE, or his Succeffors, we bind ourfelves, and each of us, our, and each of our Heirs, Executors, and Adminiftrators, jointly and feverally ,firmly by thefe Prefents. ' Sealed with our Seals, and dated this        10th    Day of        May

The Condition of the above Obligation is fuch, that whereas there is a Marriage fhortly intended to be had and folemnized between the above bound    John Bratcher --- and Nancey Shrewsbury  ----. No if there fhall be no lawful Caufe to obftruct the faid Marriage, then the above Obligation to be Void, elfe to remain in full Force and Virtue.
