all men by these presents that We William Bradshaw & Robert Saalmon are held and firmly bound unto his excellency
Robert Brook Esqr Governor of
the Commonwealth of Virginia in the sum of one hundred and fifty Dollars
to which the payment well and Truly to be made to the said Governor and
his Succefsors we do bind ourselves our heir to Jointly and Severally
firmly by these presents sealed with our Seals and Dated this 17th day
of January 1795
The Condition of the above obligation is such that Whereas a marriage is
Suddenly intended to be had and Solemnized between the above bound Now if there be no
lawfull Cause to
obstruct the said intended marriage of them the above obligation to be
Void else to remain in full ... |

hereby Certify and give from under my hand that I have Concented to the
marrige of William Bradshaw and my Daughter Susanna Salmon give under my
hand this 16th January 1795 |
