Ralph and I started away to exhibit "Actual War Scenes". We
went to Hinckley from there to Sandstone, and give our first
exhibition May 12. That was the largest crowd that I ever
spoke to. I was about the first time that I ever spoke in public
my way. Sandstone is a wild rocky place on Kettle River.
The rock raising up over a hundred feet in height.
