HARRINGTON Land located 45 mi NE of Fort Panmere [Natchez]
NOTE: Between 1799-1802 this would have been situated in
Jefferson Co, MS
3/1/1800 Thomas HARRINGTON witness in court case .
9/15/1800 Thos. ARRINGTON and wife Nannet sell 300 acres.
Thos ARRINGTON, of Bayou Pierre, Pickering Co., Mississippi
Terr. and Nannet, his wife, to William Neely of same, for $600
in hand paid for 300 ac granted William TABOR as above on
Tabor's fork. ack: by above the full sum of $600 appearing
before justice courts of Pickering Co. was Thos and Nannet
who acknowledged the foregoing deed.

daughter of Arthur CARNEY, decd, as grandmother to the
child. Matilda CARNEY and Tobias BRASHEARS make application
for same. Wm BROCUS, SR., the great grandfather of the
child makes application also.
05/29/1804 CLAIBORNE CO, MISS Minutes of the Orphans Court
Ordered that Nannette BRASHEARS and Wm BROCUS,SR.,
be appointed guardians of Betsy (Elizabeth) and
Thomas Calvit HARRINGTON (SO THOMAS HARRINGTON SR
MUST HAVE BEEN DEAD ON THIS DATE)
6/18/1805 Gift Deed from William BROCUS, SR. to his great-granddaughter
Elizabeth Louisiana CARNEY. Also his grandchildren Elizabeth

named in this will. If anybody knows, please email me. If he
was, as it appears, a son of Thomas Sr, then apparently he

Thomas Herrington (this Thomas has been positively identified as
the one who was living 1830 Rankin Co, 1840-1850 Scott Co, and
who moved to Anderson Co, Texas in 1851. In a later application
filed in Texas he identified himself as the same Thomas and gave
his age on that date (1853) as 66, born c1787 South Carolina.
