Angel Assisted Healing

A True Story

One day I was with my friend Constance. She had a very bad sore throat and was not feeling well, but did not want to stay home. We went to visit our friend Hazel. Hazel said I should do something for Constance. I am a Reiki Master and I had been sending energy to Constance for at least two hours. I decided to try hands on healing. Constance sat down and I began to hold her throat with little results, so I changed to holding her ears, and began to pray for healing for Constance. Immediately I saw Maia the angel smiling at me. (I found out later that Hazel saw her too.) I felt the angel's energy come down over me.. It was like standing in and electric bon fire! I turned red from head to toe and became extremely hot. Maia gave me as much energy as I could handle, no more. In five minutes the energy cooled and the pain was gone from Constance's throat! However, the fever remained. That night, in a dream, Constance was told that only the pain was removed, because that was all she had asked for! Constance would have been completely healed if she had asked for it.

Now, I ask assistance from Maia whenever I do healing work. You may ask Maya to help you also! Simply print out the picture of Maia (it is on Maia the Healing Angel page) and put a picture of a friend or loved one (or yourself!) under Maia's hands and say the affirmation often. I saw Maia as a beautiful blonde with rosy cheeks and deep pink lips. Her hair, the color of butter, softly curled, fell below her shoulders. Of course her eyes were a deep violet blue. I saw her on a day during the week between Christmas and New Years Day. When I thought about it, I realized that the angel painting that I had dreamed about in November, was a painting of this angel. I found it strange that I had painted her picture before I ever saw her! I didn't yet know her name. A friend of mine, Liz Jasper, told me the angel's name. Liz said that she usually would hear the name but this time she saw it spelled out...M a i a.

I began to imagine that the angel was with me when ever I did Reiki, whether I was the recipient of the energy or someone else was the recipient. When watching television, I would imagine that I was laying in the arms of Maia the angel. I imagined that she placed her hands on top of mine and the healing energy would flow through my hands into my body. I could feel the strength of the energy rise when I did this. When I gave someone a treatment, I would place my hands on the person's body and pass Reiki energy into the area I was touching. After a while, I would imagine that I was sitting in Maia's lap with her hands over mine, her healing energy flowing through my hands into the person I was treating. Most of the time the person would notice the strength of the energy rising and would tell me that she felt the energy become hotter or more tinglely. Only occasionally would I have to ask what she was feeling. Always the report was the same. An increase in energy was felt. The person' pain was usually gone before the treatment session was over and the healing was more rapid than usual.

My friend and teacher ,Constance Warren, usually has Reiki Sunday one a month at her house. We all take turns laying on the beautiful pink carpet on her living room floor and giving Reiki treatments. One Sunday I told everyone about Maia the angel and asked if they would imagine or visualize Maia assisting with healing energy. Everyone who tried it said that the energy increased when they thought of or imagined Maia. All those who were treated said that they felt an increase in the energy also.

I think that anyone can use any healing modality and be assisted by Maia. The secret is to ask God for Maia's help. Maia will assist anyone who's intention is for the best and highest good of the person being treated. I am sure that Maia will assist with massage. I know she assists me when I do reflexology or magnified healing.

I have charged this page with healing energy. Ask God or your guides to allow you to receive this energy if it is for your best and highest good. The energy never runs out or dissipates.
