| Background: | | After playing an obscure show in Ohio back in 1993, Marilyn Manson Impersonator and the Spooky Kitsch were approached by a gawky teenager in a hideous fur coat. The boy told him about his ambitions of leaving the trailer park where he lived and achieving stardom. The entire band laughed at him and he left the club feeling quite dejected. However, he did manage to steal the keys to the band's RV (they weren't up to tour bus status yet) before leaving. Though most of the band members were visibly upset about not being able to enter their vehicle, M.M.I. invited the boy into the RV upon discovering that it was he who had taken the keys. They drank together all that night and laughed about it for hours. The evening finally ended with M.M.I. and the boy exchanging phone numbers. The two kept in touch, and when the Gidget Gein Impersonator left the band for unknown reasons, M.M.I. asked the boy to take G.G.I.'s place. Changing his name to the Twiggy Ramirez Impersonator, the boy has been the bassist for Marilyn Manson Impersonator's Lonely Hearts Club Band and a driving force behind their music ever since. |
