December 28 calendar of the competitions in finswimming on 2002
December 26 Last 3 days in Kiev was held Junior Championships of Ukraine and were rated 4 new
junior national records.
Kotov Maxim (14 years old, from Khar'kov) 800 surface - 7.02.
400 surface - 3.22.
Theese are new records in category before 15 years old.
And also sportsman of our club
Kaydan Yana (12 years old)
100 underwater 47.67
400 underwater 3.56.
Theese are new records in category before 13 years old.
Also in Kiev took part Champion of the World Dimitrious Tomais from Greece who practises with our coach
Georgiy Uspensky.

December 2-3 in Kiev was held Cup of Kiev. Inspite of the beginning of the season were shown some high results.
In the general offset the first was team Akvarium, team Darnitsa was only second.
November 8-11 in German city Rostock was held the international Cup of Rostock on which were participated
15 teams from 6 countries. There was the Ukrainian team Darnitsa too. On this competitions our sportsmen took 2 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronse medals.

World Long distance finswimming championships. Ravenna, Italy (18 - 24.09.2001)
 September 24 Sportsman of our club young Irina Poloshentseva has won
a World Championships in Ravenna, Italy in relay 4x2000 m. girls!
In official results team of Ukraine is on the second place with 3 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronse medal. Only Italy has better result.
September 20The distance 6000 m. between women and men was in the first day of the competition. This day was called "The day of Chech". First on this distance between women was Hana Vykoukalova from Chech Republic.
Her time was better more than one minute that time of Simakova Michaela (from Chech too). Third was Anna Di Ceglie from Italy.
Multiple champion of the World Italian Fabio Picchi was the best between men on the distance 6000 m. Second was Daniel Sonnekal from Germany. Ukrainian Eugen Shandyga was only third.
September 21In the second day of the competition was a distance 6000 m. between girls and boys. This day was more happy for the Ukrainian team. This day Ukrainian Olga Slyahovskaya got her first in her life gold medal of the World Championship.
The second on this distance was Camille Blondel from France, the third - Vendula Resova (Chech Rep.).
The best between boys on this distance was Italian Lorenzo Minisola, Ukrainian Vitaly Plodisty was the second and the third was again Italian Enrico Ennas. Russian Roman Maletin who was second on this distance on the European Championship last year in Italy was only tenth.

Sportsman of our club Yulia Uspenska has won 800 m IS with new European record - 6.48.1 on the European Championships in Eger, Hungary. There was a second medal by Yulia, first was on a distance 400 IS - 3.14.88 Congratulates coaches Georgiy Uspensky and Natalia Chekodanova!
