The role is perfect for him as an optimistic, nothing-gets-him down kind of guy serving as an inspiration to kids famed for their disobedience. He boards with fellow teacher, Takeuchi Yuko, who hates Tsuyoshi, in the ramen shop owned by her hardheaded father. Okay plot with decent acting but lacks originality and the story drags a bit in the middle.
