Colours of my Journey
Acrylic on board
I painted this in three days after an awesome visit to Wellington Channeller Blair Styra. The energy I recieved from " Tabaash " filled me with the power to recreate my journey in the form of colour and movement. The colours are associated with the Chakras and Auric body.If you take the central 'column' as being my energy form with my birth beginning at the bottom, you will see how at different times there are more colours than others. At one point you can see I was reduced to one colour, red, the colour of survival. As new influences touched me new colours emerge. Around the central core the storm rages, shaping, throwing debris or fortune my way.
The picture has continued, there have been new colours added, new energies touching mine.
I often wonder what colours I add to the storms that rage around others.
When I start to imagine the scene of countless individuals coming together the  picture is awash with colour explosions, thunder and lightening.
It's a theory that seems to have endless possibilities because we have so many colour combinations to choose from.
When we stand solid with all our colours strong, with no fear of them being dimmed in any way, are we enlightened? whole? Godly? ready to serve?
Are our colours tested for resilience??
Destiny versus Desire
Oil on board
The figures in this scene chase butterflies that they can never catch. In the meantime their own world changes and they seem not to notice.
When we stop and refocus on our own reality we can find magic that we may have lost sight of or had forgotten was there.
Do the best things for us exist in our own dimension?
Are the butterflies more exciting because we can't catch them?
