| December 18, 2005; MY BIRTHDAY. It has taken me over 3 years to get from there to here. This time last year I was recovering from two operations to rid my body of breast cancer. My two daughters had travelled up from the South Island to share the milestone of my fiftieth birthday with me. IT WAS COLD AND WET, THIS YEAR IT IS HOT AND MUGGY. Just goes to show, we walk a path that is determined by things outside our control. 2005 has been a year of adversity and I have survived. Now I am ready to take on the world again. LOOK OUT WORLD, HERE I COME! |
