This section is designed mostly to explain the Catholic faith from a Catholic perspective.  I intend to clarify the misconceptions of non-Catholics.

The simplest answer to the question of what we believe is one word:

TRUTH!
However, if that's not enough, read on!  This question's been asked of me ever since I made the decision to join the Catholic Church.  I've found some answers too - most in The Bible, some in my heart, some in other websites and quite a few by talking to various priests.

So, if you're ready to learn - really learn - what we're all about, it's right here!

NOTE:  The information here is NOT open to debate.  This is information on Catholic beliefs.  Either you believe or you don't - I do!  This is for INFORMATIONAL and educational purposes ONLY.

The Catholic Church is the only church that can trace its roots back to the apostles.  Now, that statement doesn't make the Catholic Church right and everybody else wrong.  However, what I intend to put forward in this section is the proof that I believe is necessary to say just exactly that.

I've heard lots of negative opinions about the Catholic faith, virtually all from non-Catholics, and most are completely and easily un-provable.  Very recently, I even applied the "Chapel" for membership in a web-ring and was told in no uncertain terms that I and my church are "cultists", "idol-worshipers", "Pope-worshipers", "non-Christian" and several other rather insulting inuendos.  I've kept the e-mail for my own records.  This simple little incident was the spark that ignited my belief that I should include this section.

As an ex-Lutheran, an ex-Protestant, I'm going to speak out now.  I'm speaking to all you Protestants out there, especially you who so love to use Bible verses (or parts there-of) to prove your point.  My only warning here is that I'm going to use "your" Bible (King James Version) to prove my points.  I'm not going to mince words here - this is my defence of my church against non-believers.  It's in no way any different from when I served to defend my country from its enemies - here I defend my church!

And, for you Catholics whose faith might be just a bit wavering - check this out!  It's all true, it's what we're about!


So listen up!
The Catholic Church is the only church that can trace its roots back to the apostles.  The early writings of the apostles "SCREAM" Catholic.  The Bible, given to non-Catholics by the Catholic Faith, is now used as a weapon against the true church - and it was prophesied in the Bible itself (1 Tim 4:1; Gal 1:9).

If you ever would like to know the truth, you've got to be honest with yourself and examine both sides of an issue with an open heart.  Drop your prejudices for a few minutes and learn something!
These subjects below will be used to prove, once and for all, that the Catholic Church is the true church, the Catholic faith is the true faith.  Remember, I'm a convert -- this is some of why I'm a convert.
