A MOLEHILL OUT OF A MOUNTAIN   (Episode 161)
While trying to save some trapped digimon, Koji falls off a cliff and ends up landing right in the middle of a digimon village.

Meanwhile, Zoe and the others figure out that there money is no good in the Digital World and they still can't buy anything to eat.  Bokomon suggest that they get a job, but the kids don't really like that idea.  Then they notice a sign 'Heroes wanted.  All your meals for free', so being able to evolve into digimon and all, they just couldn't pass up this chance.  But first they must help out some digimon; otherwise they will get nothing to eat.  They hitch a ride on the back of a trailmon.  During the ride the Karatsuki Numemon, the digimon they're helping, tell them that they must save their women, who have been captured by an evil digimon.  They then find themselves in the middle of a wild train ride. Who would build tracks that go in loops anyway!?  The cart they are in comes off the track and they nearly fall off a cliff.

After climbing back up, the kids get to eat and they meet up with Koji, who had fell into the middle of the village earlier.  Then the kids decide to tell the Numemon they are digimon warriors, but after that, the Numemon seemed to be scared of them.  That night, Takuya tells Koji that he thinks it's great of him to be helping out those digimon. Koji, on the other hand, don't really seem to care what he thinks.

The next morning, the kids wake up in a shock because the Numemon have tied them up and they are now hanging over the side of a cliff.  The Numemon think they are evil digimon working with Grumblemon. Grumblemon is also a digimon warrior, but he is on the side of evil!  Grumblemon arrives and soon realizes that the kids must have the human digimon spirits.  The rope holing Koji get cut and he falls, but he spirit evolves just in time and battles Grumblemon.  The other DigiDestined soon evolve and Grumblemon soon has his hands full.  Lobomon has no clear shot at Grumblemon because Agunimon is in the way, but while they are battling Grumblemon.  Kumamon and Kazemon are save the Numemon Women.

Grumblemon falls off a cliff, but returns later and takes the entire mountain's fractal code!  Tommy saves the others from falling as the mountain starts to disappear.  The kids realize the Gumblemon has something called a beast spirit evolution.  But now, as the mountain disappears completely, everything to hold on to is gone and the kids fall...

ISLAND OF MISFIT BOYS   (Episode 162)
After their all trip down, Takuya, Koji, and Tommy end up falling into a giant toy box.  They soon realize that they have landed in a place called 'Toy Town'.  The toys here want to go to the human world to find an owner.  Tommy finds some toys that he really likes and stops to play with them.  Takuya also thinks the toys are really cool, but not Koji, he thinks Tommy is just a baby.  This makes Takuya mad and he and Koji have a fight.  Koji says that Tommy is useless.  But the fight don't last very long because Monzaemon chases them away.  They run and hide on some kind of boat ride, but when the ride starts up, they are forced to go for a ride against their will.  This nearly makes Tommy sick and he doesn't feel very well afterward.

It becomes very clear that Koji still doesn't have any respect for Tommy.  Takuya gets mad at him again and they start fighting again.  So they walk and fight and walk and fight and, well you get the point.  :)  They soon come across a candy store, and not having had anything to eat, they stop in for a snack.  However, Takuya and Koji continue to agree to disagree and this time Koji says that Tommy needs to grow up and stop being such a baby. He thinks Tommy is totally useless.

While they are fighting, Warumonzaemon kidnaps Tommy and attacks both of them before they have a chance to do anything.  This attack is so unfair too, it makes to person under it's spell, feel very depressed.  By the time the attack wears off Warumonzaemon has disappeared with Tommy.  Koji is an only child and Takuya doesn't think he really knows how to care about anyone.  They both know this would have never happened had they not been fighting.

While searching for Tommy, they are attacked by ShadowToyAgumon, but they are suddenly saved from the attack by Pandamon, just in time too.  Pandamon shows them how to get inside the building where Tommy is being held.  But on their way there, they are attacked by the ShadowToyAgumon again.  They both spirit evolve, but the 'shadows' team up to form two tanks.  Takuya and Koji work together to defeat them and they each take a set of digital code, one set form each of the tanks.  They then go to save Tommy, but he is just playing video games with Monzaemon.  Tommy says that after he discovered that the bear just wanted to play video games with him, Monzaemon turned form evil to good.   Koji says that it would take a kid to figure that out.  (Maybe Koji likes Tommy after all)  The ToyAgumon give the kids a ride to the forest in their airplane.

As for Zoe and J.P, they were stuck on a log floating down the river and after coming ashore they realized that they have no idea as to where they are.

THE ODD ONE OUT   (Episode 163)
J.P. and Zoe are trying to figure where they are.  While going through a field of tall grass, they bump into Tusnomon.  Togamon, the teacher, shows up to take him back to 'digimon school'.  J.P. now wants to visit the school, because the thinks there may be snacks there.  So, they decide to visit the school and while there, J.P. is asked to tell the class a little bit about the human world.  But, after J.P. was unable to come up with anything useful to say, Bokomon took over and talked to the digikids about how to become 'big strong digimon'.

At recess time, J.P. notices that no one will play with Tsunomon.  Zoe knows just how hw feels too, because she was not liked very well at school either.  She used to live in Italy but later moved to Japan, but she will never pretend to be someone she's not, just to make people like her.  After recess, using his supply of candy bars, J.P. tries to get the other digikids to be friends with Tsunomon.  He says that anyone who plays with Tsunomon will get a candy bar,  This plan backfires when the kids say they would not play with him anyway.  Tsunomon runs away, but J.P. and Zoe chase after him.

Tsunomon falls into the water.  Zoe tries to save him, but she also falls in, but she can't get back out!  Tsunomon digivolves and saves Zoe.  It is now known that because of his ability to digivolve, that no one will be friends with him.  It starts to rain and Tsunomon says that if they don't warn the others about the river being so high, they may all get washed away.

Zoe and J.P. can get there faster if they fly, so they spirit evolve and go back to the school.  It is no easy task, but by working together, they are able to save the school, but one digikid has fallen into the water and needs help.  Tsunomon knows he is the only one who can save him, so he digivolves and saves the digikid.  Later, after the rain had stopped, everyone is proud of Tsunomon for what he had done and no one is afraid of him anymore.  To tank the kids, the digimon make a boat for them, to help them get to the forest.  Just in time too, because the plane the boys were in is now also over the same forest.  The group is together once again!

WELCOME TO MY NIGHTMARE   (Episode 164)
The kids continue their walk to the forest terminal.  Bokomon says it isn't that far now, but of course, he's been saying that all along.  It is getting late and the kids gather apples for a snack and build a fire for the night.  That night Takuya wonders, why, with all of their power combined, they were not able to defeat Grumblemon.  They remember that Gumblemon used something called a 'beast spirit' to transform into Gigasmon.  Takuya ask Bokomon to look up more info on beast spirits and they find out that there should be a beast spirit waiting somewhere for each one of them!  They know that the more spirits they get, the more powerful they will become.  Bokomon tells them that they must find their beast spirits in order to save the digital world.

In the dark, the kids notice some strange trees with pictures of the real world in them.  It is the TV Forest, as Bokomon calls it.  Tommy is all right until he sees his Mom in one of the trees.  He then starts to think about how much he really misses his Mom and Takuya realizes that he really misses his little brother.  Zoe suggest that Tommy could be Takuya's little brother while they are in the Digital World.  To take everyone's minds off of how much they miss their families, J.P. does some magic tricks.  But off in the distance, Tommy has noticed a strange shadow for some time now, but never said anything.  It is an evil digimon that no one has noticed, and it sneaks up and puts an evil spell on Tommy.  Still, no one notices.

Takuya knows that J.P. is an only child, even J.P. don't know how he knew that.  Takuya tells J.P. how he left the day of his brother's birthday and how he missed out on the cake and ice cream.  He feels really bad about that now.  Suddenly, they notice that strange shadow.  Tommy is having a nightmare that everyone is against him and wants to destroy him.  The evil digimon caused this nightmare.  Tommy wakes up, but is convinced that everyone is against him.  He spirit evolves to Kumamon and attacks everyone!  J.P. wants to spirit evolve and take him out, but not even Koji agrees with that.  Takuya and Koji notice the shadow and spirit evolve, they find the evil digimon.  Zoe leaves to help Takuya, while Lobomon fends off Kumamon.  Zoe tells Lobomon not to harm that little bear no matter what happens.

The digimon is Bakumon, but he has been turned evil.  Takuya gets caught in the same nightmare as Tommy and realizes that Tommy must be having the same dream.  Takuya knows it's not real and is able to break the spell that was placed on him.  Agunimon tries to convince Tommy that they are all his friends, but it is only after Bakumon is returned to his good self again, that the spell over Tommy is broken.  Tommy returns to normal, but says that he don't remember anything that happened.  Maybe it's just better that way.  The kids now go to bed to get some sleep, but Koji receives a strange e-mail that tells him that his beast spirit waits, but first he has some growing to do.  What is that all about?

CAN'T KEEP A GRUMBLEMON DOWN   (Episode 165)
The kids are just waking up, last night was really rough on them.  They notice that Koji, Bokomon, and Neemon are already gone.  Koji must have left after he received that e-mail.  Koji leaves a note telling the others that he's leaving, but he don't say where he went.  Takuya is worried about Bokomon and Neemon and would like to go find them.

Bokomon and Neemon are following Koji.  Koji has lots of questions for the person that sent him that e-mail and wonders what it means.  Bokomon and Neemon bump into Koji and they end up rolling down a hillside.  As a matter of fact, they end up rolling right into the side of a rock-like digimon called Gotsumon.  Bokomon ask Gotsumon how to get to the Forest Terminal.  (Guess the TV Forest was the wrong forest)  But the Gotsumon will not tell them anything.  So they follow Gotsumon but still don't get any information from him.  Grumblemon starts attacking Gotsumon's village.  Koji spirit evolves but Lobomon is knocked out.  Gotsumon finds him and saves him from being caught by Grumblemon, who has since evolved to Gigasmon.  Gotsumon don't think very much of Koji's powers and don't think he is a very good fighter.  Koji knows his beast spirit must be somewhere close and now wants to find it more than ever!  However, Gotsumon wants to find the spirit first and soon, he does find the jewel that will awaken the spirit.

While searching for Koji and this two digimon partners, the other are attacked by Gigasmon.  They all spirit evolve and attack him, but Kumamon (Tommy) is nearly defeated,  Kazemon (Zoe) arrives just in time, other wise Tommy may have lost his spirit.  But instead, Kazemon looses her spirit.  Gigasmon returns to Grumblemon and attacks Lobomon and even he is nearly defeated.  Gotsumon saves Lobomon from yet another blast and gives Koji the jewel he needs to awaken the beast spirit.  Using the new spirit, Koji beast spirit evolves to KendoGarurumon.  Beast Spirits are hard to control, as Koji just found out.  But he gain control long enough to push Gigasmon over a cliff and into the water down below.  Koji de-digivolves and is now very tired after all that.  One spirit has been lost, but yet another has been gained.  But what about Zoe's spirit?
