| MY BROTHER IN SPIRIT (Episode 187) Kouichi wonders why Cherubimon has allowed him to remember his past and he wonders who Koji is, since he looks just like him. Takuya is out looking for Koji, while Tommy, JP, and Zoe just start to notice that everyone else has left. Tommy, JP, and Zoe try to contact Takuya and Koji using their D-Tectors, but it is no use. Neemon and Bokomon continue their search for Patamon. Kouichi now remembers that he has a brother, and that it's Koji. However, Duskmon don't want to fight his own brother. Kouichi's dad has left his mom for another woman. Kouichi feels bad for his mom, because she was so upset. At this point, Cherubimon is able to turn Duskmon against Koji. Meanwhile, Bokomon and Neemon finally find Patamon and he leads them to Takuya. Patamon then tells them to follow him to Koji. Tommy, JP, and Zoe decide to go back to the train and ride around looking for the others. Duskmon is back for another round and attacks Koji again. Koji fusion evolves to Beowolfmon and tries to talk to Dusmon. However, Duskmon only wants to destroy Koji. Duskmon then tells him the truth, he is his twin brother. Koji thinks he is just liying, but Duskmon tells him that their mother is alive. Now, Koji realizes that he is telling the truth. But then, the battle between the two continues. Takuya arrives just in time to save Koji from Duskmon's attack. Patamon tries to attack Duskmon, but it is useless. Koji tells Takuya that Duskmon is really his twin brother. But Koji still says that he will not fight his own brother. Takuya is happy about Koji having a brother, but says Koji has to try to save Kouichi, because he is his only hope. Koji now knows what he must do. Takuya and Koji fusion evolve. Koji attacks and releases Duskmon form the Dark Power. Now being able to see Kouichi's face, Takuya says that he is the kid he seen on the train, that one time, when he returned home to the real world... RATING: 9 |
| NE'ER THE TWINS SHALL MEET (Episode 188) Takuya tells Koji that he has seen Kouichi before. Koji wants to know if he is really his brother and if their mother is still alive. Kouichi says that it's all true. Kouichi remembers seeing Koji once, a long time ago, but he never tols anyone. And then, he saw Koji again on that train, when Koji was headed to the digital world. Takuya wants to know how Kouichi got to the digital world in the first place, because he knows he never made it on the train. However, Kouichi can't remember much about how he got there. He only remembers just showing up in the digital world. Soon after ariving, he ment Churbimon, who gave him the spirit of darkness. Everyone is now back together on the train, and are again headed for the Rose Morning Star. Noone could have ever guessed that Duskmon would turn out to be Koji's brother. Everyone wants to help the brothers get a long, but don't know what they can do. Koji ask them what he is supose to do, he has never had a brother before. Everyone tells Koji their own story about what they think being a brother is all about, but that don't go too well. :) But after all that, Koji gets the idea, and thanks everyone for all their help. Kouichi don't understand why everyone still likes him after all he has done. Patamon tells him that darkness isn't a bad thing unless you chose to make it that way. Churbimon arrives and suddenly knocks the train off the track. Everyone evolves to their higest levels and prepare to attack. However, all of their attacks are useless, even Aldamon's attack is useless. Koji protects Kouichi from churbimon's attack. Churbimon says that the "spirit" has selected Kouichi and that he wants him back! Kouichi realizes that he is not full of darkness and the dark powers, turn to powers of good. This is the true powers od Darkness. Kouichi receives his D-Tector and then spirit evolves to Lowemon and attacks. However, this is not enough power, and he beast spirit evolves to Jagerlowemon. He defeates Churbimon, but it turns out to only be a copy of him. The real Churbimon is waiting at the Rose Morning Star for Kouichi. The battle is to start when they arrive... RATING: 9.5 |
| OPERATION: FREE OPHANIMON (Episode 189) The kids arrive at the Rose Morning Star. Ophanimon contacts them, she tells them that they must use the power of all 10 spirits to defeat Churbimon, he is waiting for them. The connection that Ophanimon was using is lost and they didn't receive the rest of her message. Here, lots of data is being sucked into the sky for some reason, even Kouichi doesn't know what Churbimon is up to. Everyone spirit evolves. Churbimon is collecting a lot of data for something, and he also knows that the kids are here. Ophanimon tells Churbimon that she only wishes for peace. The kids arrive at the entrance to the castle and are attacked by Phantomon. After a short battle the Pantomon disappear, only to reappear seconds later to capture all the digimon except for Lowemon. Lowemon defeates the Phantomon and takes their fractal code. Everone is free thanks to him. Churbimon wants all the power he can get, even the power of the ten spirits. The digimon run up a long flight of stairs and there is a room here full of "Shadow Digimon". These shadows were created each time the spirit of darkness rejected a owner. (Only Kouichi can handle the spirit of darkness) Oryxmon arrives, but the is not here to fight. He wants to lead them to Ophanimon. When they arrive, Ophanimon is being held in a glowing spear. The kids try to free her, but it is no use. Ophanimon tells them the exact same story that they have heard before, about Churbimon wanting to take over the digital world. Ever since that day, Seraphimon has never awakened. Just when the digital world was about to be destroyed, Ophanimon called on the human world for help. This is when the kids received the message to come to the Digital World. Then Churbimon arrives, but all he is there for is the power of the ten spirits. Churbimon nearly has control of the spirits already and he has the digimon right where he wants them! RATING: 8.5 |
| TAKUYA AND KOJI'S EVOLUTION REVOLUTION (Episode 190) Churbimon is quick to destroy Oryxmon, he was only using him to get to the 10 spirits, as he did with Ophanimon. He also used Kouichi to get to the spirits. Kouichi's attacks have no power because there is no darkness here. Takuya and Koji fusion evolve. Aldamon saves Lowemon from Churbimon, but then finds himself captured. The light in the building makes their attacks useless, so Takuya and Koji decide to force Churbimon outside. However, the battle outside is not going so well. The digimon try to free Ophanimon and they may have found a way to do it! But they better hurry, because Churbimon has taken Takuya and Koji's D-Tectors. Now all Churbimon needs is the remaining D-Tectors. Just as the digimon were about to free Ophanimon, Churbimon returns. JP loses his D-Tector to Churbimon and Ophanimon is still trapped. Tommy and Kouichi also meet the same fate as JP. Only Zoe's Power remains. Ophanimon knows she must do something now, and uses her power to break through the, now weaken, cage. She wishes Churbimon would be good again, but there is no choice but to fight him. Ophanimon attacks him and the kids get to see the true Churbimon for the first time. Ophanimon destracts him long enough to steal back the D-Tectors. Churbimon is still alive and Ophanimon has used up the rest of her power. She tells the kids not to give up. Ophanimon was able to evolve Takuya and Koji's D-Tectors and the kids can now combine all of their spirits into one. (5 in one and 5 in the other) The kids combine all of the spirits and in doing so, Koji and Takuya evolve to a New Level! RATING: 8 |
| ICE ICE BABY (Episode 191) The kids have combined their spirits. The spirits are combined inside Koji's and Takuya's D-Tectors allowing them to evolve into Emperor Greymon and MangaGarurumon and they prepare to battle Churbimon. EmperorGreymon leaves MangaGarurumon alone while he goes to take the others to a safer location and then returns to the battle. It is at this point that they realize just how powerful Churbimon really is. Churbimon attacks, but they have made him so upset, that his aim is way off and he doesn't hit anything. The castle is about to fall apart and the others are near the building! The two new digimon return just in time to save the others and they get away just as everything around them falls apart. Takuya is happy to know that noone got hurt during the battle. They think they have defeated Churbimon, but Kouichi says that defeating Churbimon could not have been that easy. With the battle over for now, all the spirits return to their owners. There is a new evil digimon around now, but at this point noone has noticed. Kouichi has something he wants to tell Koji, but he never gets a chance, because they are suddenly attacked by IceDevimon. The kids think he has been sent by Churbimon, but IceDevimon says that's not true. Bokomon tells them that he had become too powerful for even Churbimon to control. IceDevimon only wants the kids data and nothing more. He freezes Koji and Takuya's D-Tectors so they can't digivolve. Everyone else spirit evolves and attacks, but all but Kouichi and Tommy are frozen by IceDevimon's attacks. They switch to their beast spirits, while IceDevimon grabs Takuya and Koji and starts to freeze them. Lowemon is able to free Takuya and Koji, but he could still use some help with the battle against IceDevimon. Tommy is able to free the rest of the digimon and they all attack IceDevimon at once. IceDevimon is soon defeated and Lowemon takes his fractal code. With IceDevimon gone, Takuya and Koji's D-Tectors unfreeze and everything returns to normal. Everyone welcomes Kouichi to the group, but this reunion won't last for long because...Chubimon has come back again! RATING: 7.5 |
