| ZOE'S UNBEELIEVABLE ADVENTURE (Episode 181) Merceremon says that Ranamon will never be able to defeat Zoe in her beast spirit mode. Bokomon is worried about the others and wonder if they will ever get free from Sakkuakmon. Meanwhile, Honeybeemon have been watching Ranamon and they really like her. They decide to show their love for her by destroying Kazemon. Zoe takes time to remember how she used to always help everyone out when ever she could, but somehow, she always ended up being alone. The Honeybeemon set up a trap for Zoe, but end up trapping themselves instead and Kazemon ends up setting them free. This happens several more time, but Kazemon never thought they were up to anything. The Honeybeemon start being nice to Zoe and she offers them some food. Later, while Zoe is sleeping, Ranamon gives the Honeybeemon an apple and tells them to give it to Zoe. When Zoe woke up, they gave her the apple; she eats it, and then started having some kind of strange nightmare. She starts to wonder if there is anyone in the world that likes her. As for the others, Takuya finds himself up against Parrotmon, but he spirit evolves and the bird is defeated with little problem. Takuya then takes the Parrot's fractal code. J.P. meets a talking tree, Cherrymon. But this is not a friendly tree, it attacks J.P. and he is forced to spirit evolve and take out the digimon. After defeating Cherrymon and taking the fractal code, a portal appears. J.P. goes through the portal and is returned outside. He is now also free from Sakkuakmon. Back with Zoe, she wonders if her friends had been lying to her the entire time and questions even if the other DigiDestined like her. But now Zoe realizes that all of these feelings are fake and she is able to break the spell. Zoe spirits evolves and attacks Ranamon. They both switch to their beast spirit and that is when the Honeybeemon decide they like Zephyrmon better now. With a little time, Ranamon is defeated once and for all. Zoe takes Ranamon's beast spirit and then loads her fractal code. A portal appears and Zoe is now free from Sakkuakmon. Needless to say, the Ranamon "fan club" is now over for good. RATING: 7.5 |
| STUCK IN SAKKUAKMON WITH YOU (Episode 182) Duskmon is looking for Koji. The others, who are now outside of Sakkuakmon, want to help out, but they don't know if there is much they can do. They spirit evolve and try to get back inside Sakkuakmon, but it's no use, once you are outside, you can't get back in. Tommy, Zoe ad J.P. see Duskmon trying to get inside Sakkuakmon, and with a little work, he does make it inside! Zoe uses her D-Tector to warn Takuya that Duskmon may be after Koji. Duskmon wants to find out who Koji is and after a little while, he catches him! Duskmon uses his powers to start going trough Koji's memories. Duskmon knows there is a connection between them somehow and must know what it is. Duskmon finds a memory of Koji's step mom. It seems that Koji never really liked his step mom because he thought she was trying to take the place of his Mother, who had died. While on this way to help Koji, Takuya runs into IceLeomon and a battle takes place. IceLeomon nearly freezes Takuya, but Takuya is able to over power him and the battle is over. Agunimon loads the fractal code and two new portals appear. One goes outside, the other to a different place inside Sakkuakmon. Takuya knows that he must help Koji and chooses to stay. He knows that if he leaves now, he won't be able to help Koji. Duskmon wants to destroy Koji. Koji spirit evolves and Lobomon and Duskmon fight it out. Koji is tired of Duskmon, so he switches to his beast spirit and hit Duskmon very hard. At the same time, Bokomon's Digiegg starts to move. Koji is nearly defeated by Duskmon and now remembers that he never picked up the flowers that he was going to buy for his step mom. The Digiegg gives Koji the power to become aware of both of his spirits. Suddenly, both spirits combine and Fusion Evolution is born! Lobomon evolves to Beowolfmon. Koji is now able to see through Duskmon and sees a kid inside that looks just like him! The battle gets really rough and they both end up attacking at the exact same time. The extra energy is so powerful that it blast them both out of Sakkuakmon and no one knows where they have gone. Agunimon just in time to see them be blasted out of Sakkuakmon. The digiegg returns to Bokomon. Koji knows that he is somehow connected to Duskmon, but how? RATING: 10 |
| DARKNESS BEFORE THE DAWN (Episode 183) Agunimon is still trying to get out of Sakkuakmon, but after going through portal after portal, he ends up in a place with a bunch of mirrors. Mercuremon soon arrives and wants to fight Agunimon. Being inside Sakkuakmon, Mercuremon is inside his own world and can do anything he wants and he is everywhere! Agunimon attacks Mercuremon, but his attack is reflected and hits him instead. Mercuremon takes off, but Agunimon follows him. They soon arrive in a place that looks like a church. Agunimon sees an image that looks like Seraphimon, but it is not real, it's just a copy. Mercuremon uses Seraphimon's data to transform into ShadowSeraphimon. This new digimon is way too strong for Agunimon to handle, so Takuya switches to his Beast Spirit Evolution. However, even BurningGreymon is not strong enough to defeat ShadowSeraphimon. The other DigiDestined hope that he thinks to use the Fusion Evolution. Takuya ends up de-digivolving and returns to his human form. The others still want to try to help Takuya, so they spirit evolve and try to get inside Sakkuakmon, but they are unable to so, and there is nothing they can do to help. Bokomon is worried about Takuya and asks the digi-egg to help Takuya like it did Koji. The Digi-Egg responds by giving Takuya the extra power he needs. Takuya sees both his Beast Spirit and his Human Spirit and knows that there must be a new evolution. Takuya Fusion Evolves to Aldamon and nothing ShadowSeraphimon does can damage him. ShadowSeraphimon is defeated by Aldamon. But when Takuya tries to load the data, it returns to the Digi-Egg instead. Mercuremon is still around, he has not really been defeated and Aldamon must now battle Mercuremon. It's not a long battle though, because soon Mercuremon is finished for good. Aldamon takes the code and Takuya is finally free form Sakkuakmon. Bokomon got hit by the fractal code that had returned to the Digi-Egg, but no problem because, the Digi-Egg soon hatches and Patamon is born... RATING: 8.5 |
| PHANTASMAGORIC SAKKAKUMON (Episode 184) Sakkakumon has gone away for now. Everyone gets a chance to meet Patamon and everyone seems to like him. The kids have lost contact with Koji and know that they must find him. While the kids have been talking, they have not noticed that Sakkakumon is now returning. *Koji continues to chase after Duskmon.* Mercuremon tells the kids that he has given up his human spirit to become Sakkakumon and has used his power to copy all the DigiDestined's attacks. Takuya fusion evolves to Aldamon. The others ask Patamon if they will be able to fusion evolve, but he tells them that all of the power has been used up and because of this, only Takuya and Koji can fusion evolve. Everyone else spirit evolves, but they quickly find out that Sakkakumon has learned all of there attacks. That is why he forced the Digimon to fight inside him, so he could learn their attacks. Whenever the Digimon attack him, he just keeps returning the same attack with much greater force. Even when Aldamon attacked him, Sakkakumon was able to return the attack. JP, Tommy, and Zoe switch to their beast spirits and they decide to attack all at once. However, this does no good, the attack is returned and they are hit with their own attack. The Digidestined decide to leave before it's too late, but Sakkakumon has already surrounded them! They make a run for it and Sakkakumon chases after them. They all end up in an underground tunnel. Sakkakumon has had enough and uses an attack to turn everything to darkness. The digimon can't see anything, it's just too dark. This freaks out everyone and fear soon begins to control them. They even start attacking and fighting each other. Aldamon tries to calm them down and tells them to use the power of the digimon inside them to help them find Sakkakumon. This helps, and they are able to attack Sakkakumon. This time they are combining attacks, so there is no way Sakkakumon can copy them. The Digimon all attack at once and Aldamon helps to finish him off. Now, with Mercuremon gone for good, the search for Koji can continue. RATING: 8 |
| O, BROTHER, WHO ART THOU? (Episode 185) Lobomon continues to search for Duskmon and they finally meet face to face. A battle between the two begins. The other kids don't have any idea where to start looking for Koji, but the search continues anyway. Patamon seems to know where Koji is. Bokomon thinks it may be because Patamon may have some sort of special powers. Patamon then warns them that something bad is coming. Koji is now trapped by Duskmon and at the same time is also attacked by Cherubimon. Cherubimon shows Koji what he called "True Fear". He also calls Duskmon "his creation". The others have been attacked and are now sealed inside a small room. They evolve and try to break out, but the walls cannot be damaged. Then, Patamon suggest trying to dig under the wall. Cherubimon says it is time for Duskmon to remember the day he first came to the Digital World. It turns out that Duskmon is actually a young boy who somehow knows Koji. This boy always wanted to meet Koji, but never got the chance to. The boy now remembers when Cherubimon first gave him the power to become Duskmon. Cherubimon in a sense "created him". Duskmon becomes very upset and confused, then evolves to Velgemon. The others are now free, after digging under the wall. Takuya still wants to help Koji, so he leaves to see if he can find him. He tells the others to stay there. Koji is attacked by Velgemon and nearly destroys Koji with his attack. Koji returns to his human form and his digivice protects him from the next attack. The power from Koji's digivice helps Velgemon to remember that KOJI IS REALLY HIS BROTHER! Velgemon don't know what to think, so he just leaves. Koji has yet to understand what is going on... | WORKIN' ON THE TRAIN GANG (Episode 186) Velgemon wonders who he really is. Takuya finally finds Koji. Koji gets to meet Patamon and finds out that Patamon helped him to fusion evolve. Now with them all back together again, they can head to the Rose Morning Star. But before they get a chance to get started, Koji takes off again. Takuya leaves again to go after him and says he will be right back. Everyone else wants to have something to eat, but JP wants to look around for more information on that star. Zoe and Tommy decide that they will go with him too. They leave and Patamon, Bokomon, and Neemon are left behind. JP, Tommy, and Zoe follow some train tracks and find a Trailmon Graveyard and it's full of old Trailmon. JP ends up disturbing a trailmon, who gets very upset. They notice the Trailmon is turned on its side and they want to help him. JP ask if he knows anything about that star and the trailmon says that he does know something, but would like to be able to stand up first. So, JP spirit evolves and helps the train up. The trailmon then ask them to wash him before he tells them what he knows. So the kids do as they are asked. After all that, the trailmon still wont tell them anything, so the kids get ready to leave. They then find out that the trailmon has been lying to them because he wanted the kids to stay with him. It turns out that the trailmon has really been to the Rose Morning Star. The trailmon suddenly transforms into a brand new trailmon. The kids have had it! They Beast Spirit Evolve and pretend as if they are going to attack the trailmon. The trailmon says he is sorry and the kids forgive him for lying to them. One day, the trailmon was suppose to take a container to the star for Cherubimon, and he thinks it may have had Seraphimon or Ophanimon inside. Since Patamon came out of the Digi-Egg, the egg did not contain Seraphimon, so it must have been Ophanimon who was inside. Tommy, JP, and Zoe now continue on to the Rose Morning Star.
