In 1986, the Twice As Fancy Ponies were produced. These ponies were different from other ponies in that their symbol covered their entire body. Also, 1986 was the last year that the So Soft Ponies were to be produced along with the Twinkle Eyed Ponies.

The Princess Ponies were also produced for the first time in 1986. These are the only Princess Ponies to come with Bushwoolies, their friends. Each Bushwoolie came in a different color. If you find a Princess Pony with its Bushwoolie friend, snatch it because these ponies are hard to find with their companions.

This is also the first year that the Big Brother Ponies were produced. There were only six produced and they were released only on one other occasion. See the pictures below.

The cute First Tooth Baby Ponies were also released in 1986. These sweet baby ponies had a tooth sticking out of their mouth. Of course this was suppose to be their "first tooth".

For the first time ever in My Little Pony history, Newborn Twins were produced in 1986. These were the first twin sets in a long line. There would be many other twin sets to be produced, but these were the very first. These Newborn Twins were smaller than Baby Ponies and were very sweet. If you can find a set of twins together, I would definitely add them to my collection.

Also, Pony Friends were the most unique additions to the My Little Pony Family yet. These ponies were animals such as Zig Zag the zebra, Spunky the camel, and many more. See the pictures below.
