Skyline: A monorail is seen travelling across the city.

Plot: Frasier has received some of Cam Winston's mail by mistake, and inside is an invitation to join La Porte D'Arente, a very exclusive place. It's so exclusive that neither Frasier nor Niles know exactly what it is - and are determined to find out!

They go along and find out it is so exclusive that they aren't even on the list. Frasier tries to get in - until Niles pretends to be Cam Winston and gets them in. They find it is a health spa and are soon enjoying the facilities on offer - until they find out there is a Gold Level area that they are not allowed in because they are not on the list for it

At Cafe Nervosa the brothers meet Roz, and after going on and on about the Gold Level she says she can get them in. Turns out she knew Senator Odgen, a member of the Gold Level, and he owes her one... Once in the Gold Level, Frasier and "Cam" enjoy the facilities - until they discover another door which they are not allowed to go through! Gold Level just isn't enough to Platinum Level - but is the next level what they think it is?

Meanwhile Martin and Daphne watch The Rockford Files, but Martin is upset when Daphne says she reminds him of Jim Rockford's father, not Rockford.

Subtitles: Plan B; After The Rubbin'; Door Jam.

Roz loves..... Senator Ogden. She knew him a few years ago when his marriage was on the rocks, and it was lucky she knew CPR..... He owes her big time, apparently.

Trivia: A few mentions of Cam Winston, who is in La Porte D'Arente. Niles' impersonation of him is quite funny. :-) There's also a mention to when they swapped mailboxes in Ep 206 "The Love You Fake". As well as The Rockford Files, Daphne and Martin mention M*A*S*H - Martin reminds Daphne of Colonel Sherman Potter (Harry Morgan), but when he gets upset she pretends to have got confused between Col Potter and Hawkeye (Alan Alda)... This episode was supposed to have a different subplot. Originally, Ana Gasteyer (Trish Haney from Ep 217 "Bristle While You Work") was to have played a psychical therapist who observed Daphne and Martin, but David Lee thought it was too week and it was dropped. The episode was put on hold until the TV subplot was filmed. Gasteyer appeared as Trish instead in Ep 217, which was actually filmed after this one.
