Holidays have been important to both Jenny and myself in recent years.  During the 1970's and 1980's there were sixteen  years when I did not fly but have been making up for that of late. I first went abroad in 1953 to Granville in France and returned to the town in 1980. I would like to make a further visit to the area to see the Bayeux Tapistry and revisit the Mont St. Michel. I visited Austria in early 1960's for ski school.  No medals or hopes of any. We have been to Florida several times.  We enjoy staying on the Gulf Coast at New Port Richey.  The Everglades National Park is well worth a visit and the walk with a ranger was enjoyed. We have also visited Arizona.  Monument Valley and Grand Canyon were superb.  I would like to walk down the canyon to the river. It is now ten years since I last visited Kenya but would like to safari again.  I consider I was lucky as I saw many animals including lions, a leopard,  many giraffe, and elephants. The photographs I show were taken in Tsavo National Park.  The 'photo above taken at Voi Lodge and the view is shown below.  A lone buffalo is sitting in the water hole.  On a game drive we came across this herd of elephants with egrets following.  Probably the best picture I have ever taken and certainly my favourite.   Some of the elephants are caked in mud and the angry sky preceeded a heavy downpour of rain.
