The more things change, the more they stay the same.  For the second straight year there was a misdeal on the first hand of the game; last year it was Mike who misdealt.  This year, thanks to Eric's inability to get the correct number of cards out of the deck, Paul misdealt.  Also for the second straight year, Mike dominated the field in record fashion.  Things looked good for Mike as soon as the first hand was finally dealt, when his partner Eric went alone to give them a very big 4-0 lead early, en rout to the biggest blowout ever in the first game of a Rafters Memorial Cup Tournament.  Mike became the first player to go undefeated, winning every game by an average of more than 3 points, and the first player to break the 60 point plateau, finishing with a record 61 pts for.  By winning all 6 games, Mike tied his own record for longest winning streak at 6.  Overall, Mike has won an amazing 12 of his last 13 games, the last two Cups of course, and certainly has the momentum going into Rafters Cup 6.  In other news; Eric, Paul, and Andrew finished with the 4th, 5th, and 6th worst records of all time, and are spending the off-season feasting heavily on an all-chicken sandwich diet.
