Steak a la Sue

Sue Littlefield

Sound good? Yep.... and tastes even better!! Sue

Ingredients

    • 1 package of steak (I buy the four pack so I can have something other than a sandwich to take for lunch.)
    • 1 bottle teriyaki sauce
    • squash
    • potatoes
    • green beans
    • 1 large glass of milk
    {heading}{heading2}

Directions

  • Steak: First let the steak marinate in the teriyaki sauce for 4-6 hours. Overnight can been good too. Cook the steak for 1 hour in the oven at 325 degrees. Turn over steak throughout the cooking time.

    Squash: You can either spend a long time peeling it or you can cut off the top and poke it with the knife near the neck. Clean out goopy stuff. Place in microwave and nuke for 8-9 minutes. Scoop out for instant fresh squash. Or you can peel or not peel and put it in halves in oven and cook for a while.

    Potatoes: Mashed potatoes from a box are good. But if you want to go the extra mile pick up a few potatoes and cook along with your meat in the oven. I like to sprinkle a potato topping on next. It not only looks pretty and adds color but tastes good. Concord Food puts out a nice one...chives, parsley, and other spices.

    Green Beans: canned are fine(i usually do these) but my roommate cooked fresh ones - what a difference.
