| I have a variety of hobbies, Genealogy being only one. I love to do counted cross stitch and flower arrangements. (I did the flower arrangements for my daughter Martha's wedding June 5, 1999. I also did the flower arrangements for my son Thomas's wedding October 27, 2001) I raise Yorkshire Terriers and at present have 5 of them. ( Bertha Sue, Wesley Snipes, So Big,The Runt and Fluffy) And I have a Bermese cat named Monkey! (see Monkey's picture below) And many stray cats left on our doorstep by inhumane people who decided they didn't want the responsibility of caring for a pet. I moved to the country so that I could have my various pets. |
| I was born in Portales, New Mexico, and lived in New Mexico for the first 20 years of my life. I graduated from Sandia High School in Albuquerque. I have lived in these other states: Washington, North Caroline, Maryland, Illinois and Texas. And I currently live in Wise County, Texas . On January 27, 2000, we welcomed our first grandchild into the world: Rachel Ann-Nicole McGregor. We also have a grandson, born February 11, 2002 named Joshua Taylor McGregor. He is named after my father and my twin son Joseph Taylor Baird. On March 11, 2004 our son Thomas and his lovely wife Nicole presented us with another granddaughter. Nadia Rose Baird. On October 13, 2004 our daughter Martha gave birth to her third child, Elizabeth Judith McGregor. |
