Getting in the Groove
From that point onward there was no stopping us. From the web's offerings we began gathering information on what we would need to bring along on our journey to the islands. Taking advice from many Hedonites we shopped in earnest. We wanted to be prepared to enjoy ourselves to the fullest. As it turned out, we needed very little.

We never used our water shoes at all, although many people did. If you intend to spend a lot of time snorkeling and swimming in the beautiful Caribbean waters, you may want to wear water shoes, otherwise the coral and shells may play havoc with your feet. The most important things we brought along were our insulated thermal mugs. These are an absolute necessity! Bring big ones...you'll make fewer trips to the beach bars and your drinks will stay cold a lot longer.
Sun hats will be a definite bonus unless you plan on spending all your time in the shade. Bring hats with wide brims that shade your ears...from personal experience we can honestly say that sunburnt ear tips are no joy! An entertaining description of what to bring on a Hedo trip can be found among the "Hedo Tips" on the Biff's Bunch web site.

However we would like to stress that the one absolute necessity is a good sunscreen and lots of it. The Jamaican sun can be brutal, and for you ladies who wish to go nude or topless, we recommend SPF 45, especially for a couple of particularly "sensitive" areas!
The last absolute necessity will be your camera. As with all good vacations, you'll want lots of memorable photos, and if you go to Hedo you'll definitely get the opportunity to take lots of "very" memorable photos! A word of caution though...there is no photography allowed on the nude side and there is a sign to that effect posted at the entrance to the nude beach area. This rule pretty much applies to the prudes who wander up to the nude side out of curiosity. If they want to visit, thay have to lose their cameras...and their clothes!
People staying on the nude side carry their cameras around with them all the time. Photography is allowed if you're staying on the nude side but it's expected to be done in a considerate manner. If you want to take someone's photo...ask permission. If you're there with a group, you can reach a mutual understanding and take pics of one another...and that's where friends come in handy...
