Nude Week | |||||
Our original intention had been to visit Hedo during the week of May 24 - our anniversary. But surfing the net one day we happened upon a reference to "Nude Week at Hedonism II". We thought the title to be a little redundant since any week at Hedo is a nude week! But when we explored further, we discovered that indeed there is such an event and it's sponsored by Go Classy Tours. |
|||||
Nude Week is held twice a year, in May and September. Representatives of Go Classy Tours are there during the week to ensure that the guests who booked this week at Hedo are well looked after.
There are special events planned for the week - lots of adult fun and games and souvenir prizes and additional amenities - that really add an extra spice to the overall enjoyment.
Our personal favourite was breakfast on the beach. Our room was one of the ocean-view, au naturel rooms close to the nude pool area. Every morning at daybreak we would awaken to more glorious Jamaican sunshine, and look out our window only to see our friends already gathering on the beach below, awaiting the arrival of the Hedo staff with breakfast. And what a breakfast! Eggs, bacon, sausages, toast, fresh rolls of all kinds, fresh fruit of all kinds, and many other delicious offerings that simply defy description. And to wash it all down there was always plenty of that remarkable Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. But the topper had to be the fresh juices - taken plain or mixed with the ever-present vodka. Screwdrivers and Bloody Marys for breakfast - what a concept! Keep up the good work Go Classy! Don't miss it... Nude Week - May & September Contact Go Classy for details |

Friends Friends Friends
Remember when we said you can never have too many friends? Well, we proved it at Hedo. All those people we met through Denny's list, had been corresponding with, had been on-line chatting with, had been exchanging telephone calls with, & had been sharing photos with...were now all waiting for us at Hedo! We were the last of our "group" to arrive. After finally getting to our room, we dumped our bags on the bed, locked our valuables in our room's security box, stripped off our clothes, grabbed a couple of towels & headed for the nude pool. This was going to be a whole new experience for us...being nude in public. We were excited about it but naturally apprehensive at the same time. Out through our room door, down the steps, around the end of the building & there it was...the nude pool. People everywhere...all shapes, all sizes, all ages, & all wearing nothing but their birthday suits & smiles! We were the new arrivals...the new kids on the block. Trying our best not to feel that all eyes were fixed upon us, we bravely headed for the pool & the false security of the water only to be stopped dead in our tracks by hysterical voices screaming out our names, & repeating over & over..."they're here, they're here, they're here". So much for anonymity. Into the nude pool...lots of hugging, kissing, shaking hands, slapping backs. None of these people had known the others before Hedo & yet it was like a gathering of long-lost friends. It truly was like a reunion. This was Hedo & we had found our friends. For the next 7 days we would spend almost all our waking time with these people, & we would love every minute of it. |
