We are located in the Thumb of Michigan, we call it no mans land, or the Boon Docks. With our interests turning in differnet directions, We are winding down in the Horses. We have two Hackney ponies left. . One being our first mare that started it all. She is 21 years old. She gave birth to what we consider her last foal, the spring of 2007. She had a Filly, she has replaced herself. This is the first and only filly she has had, She had given us all colts till then. This filly does not belong to us, so we won't get to see her grow up. We still have her 5 yr. old son, Chance. We have him for sale. We think he will make a nice Carriage driving pony. As did many of his brothers we trained, raised and sold
Dale is still doing some outside training. When he is not fishing or hunting. We plan to stay involved with the Hackney's for a while yet, but as time goes by, I am sure we will say Goodbye to the horses. It takes a lot of work to stay active. Our Morgan Stallion is 23. He has become a good looking ornament here. I have been actively working with Pembroke Welsh Corgi Rescue, and enjoying it beyond belief.
