After
emerging from the conference room, the girl in dark jacket was immediately
pursued by two Guards. She ran down the corridor, hoping to lose them, but
in vain. There were more in front of her. All she could do was to back up
against the wall when suddenly an idea came to her mind. She slammed her
body against the decorated glass window and jumped out. This unexpected move
caught the Guards off-guard and it did the trick (since none of the Guards
followed her out.).
This
dark-jacketed girl was lucky enough to have fallen onto a messenger named
Laviah, using her as a cushion. The girl was unharmed, but Laviah was… The
girl snatched an undelivered message from Laviah (these messages can worth a
lot when you sell them to shops), and ran as quick as her legs could carry
her, in search of a safe place to hide.
Heidis
ran to the elevator lobby and pressed the lift. (Isn’t it a stupid thing
to do, taking the elevator when being chased after by a couple bad guys??)
Anyway, the lift arrived and she went in, pressed the button for the ground
floor. Hey wait a minute. Why was there noise coming from above her head?
She looked up and gasped. There was a…snake! An enormous one! Uh-oh! She
ran out as soon as the lift arrived at the destination, but the monster
seemed to like her a lot. It came out after her, almost catching her by the
leg. It’s severe beating time.
She
ran out of the building and onto the tourist platform. She entered the
nearest garment boutique and bought herself some new clothes, hoping that
her new costumes would pay off. (After this, she hasn’t got much money
left.) Then, she emerged as quickly as possible.
Max
was a photographer who loved traveling around the places to take photos of
famous buildings and people. This time, he passed by the PN Centre—a grand
business centre designed with special architecture. He was trying to figure
out which angle was the best for shooting when suddenly, the image of a
Heidis hurrying by came into view. His camera immediately shifted to her as
he took a snap shot. However, Heidis ran so fast that he wasn’t able to
take more photos…
He
sighed.
He
wasn’t aware that the people around him have moved away, until someone
from behind came bumping into him. It was a girl with long black hair. She
dashed by, unaware that she had dropped one of her earrings. He picked it up
and called, “Hey, you dropped something,” but she wouldn’t even look
back.
All
he knew was suddenly, someone grabbed him from behind and pulled him into
the building of PN Centre. He tried to struggle free but his captor was too
strong for him. He was brought to the Trial Room at the bottom floor of the
building, where a purple-haired alien—Mohia from the Conference Room (The
poisonous gas had no effect on him since he had different organic
structures.), came in with a steel rod in his hands. He ordered Max to sit
down on the floor and asked him, “What is your relationship with Esonia
Knight?”
He was completely taken aback, “What? Who’s Esonia Knight?”
Mohia,
of course, didn’t believe him easily. He hit him with his weapon and asked
again, “Why did you help her pick up an earring if you claim that you
don’t know her?”
Max
understood the situation immediately. The black-haired girl who bumped into
him was Esonia Knight. Why would someone be so angry about his helping her?
He had no clue and could only answer, “My Mom taught me since I was very little,
that I should help other people whenever necessary. But honestly, I really
don’t know who that girl is, but so happens she dropped an earring. I
can’t just leave it there.”
Mohia
raved, “Answer my question!”
Max
had no choice, “I really don’t know her!”
Mohia
hit him again, this time, with a much more powerful force, “Is she your
leader?”
“What
leader?” Max was even more puzzled, “I don’t even know her!”
Mohia
was about to hit him again when two short green-skinned aliens entered and
informed him with the latest news. Their voices were too soft to be heard.
Max only knew that Mohia left in a hurry, carrying his weapon with him.
The two aliens took over and guarded Max.
Max
studied the two. He decided that these two weren’t wise creatures. H tried
to cheat them by asking them, “Who is Esonia?”
The
aliens were
astounded, “Isn’t she your leader?”
Max
saw that they hesitated, and he carried on the conversation, by telling
them, “I don’t know her. I am just a tourist.” He took out his
treasure digital camera and showed him his collection of famous sceneries,
“I like traveling and taking photos. I’ve been to many places. I’ve
just arrived here two days ago. I’m not helping Esonia,
as you’ve thought me to be.”
The
aliens looked at his photos and seemed to be distracted. He asked them
hopefully, “Now, can you release me?”
The
aliens shook their heads in unison, “Mohia told us to guard you. We cannot
let you go.”
Max sighed. (He still
failed.) However, he still wanted the answer, and he queried, “Who is this
Esonia?”
