The aliens answered, “She is one of the descendents of the Knight family. She is an enemy to our Boss and she must be destroyed. Our duty is to catch and kill her.”

“What’s wrong with being the descendent of the Knight family?” Max was amazed. He could not find any reason explaining the cause.

“We don’t know,” was the reply.

“How come?” Max was really curious this time, “Why should you help destroy a life when you don’t even know the reason?”
This annoyed the aliens more than ever. “Don’t ask any more!” they exclaimed and took out their weapons and attacked him. Max had to act quickly. He took out his gun which was hidden under his cloths and battled them. He didn’t expect that he would kill the aliens so easily. All left for him to do was to find a way to escape. He ran blindly down the corridor outside the trial room and up a stair way, where he was pursued by three Guards. Battle time! When he successfully got rid of his enemies, he ran into the first room on his right. Inside the room, was a flight of stairs. He went up and found himself inside an elevator lobby. He entered the lift with the doors wide opened, pressed the button and ascended up to the ground floor.

When the door of the lift opened, two Guards were waiting for him outside. He fought against them. After that, there were two more Tigas. The safest way to escape was to go back into the lift and go up.

Max arrived on the third floor. He turned right of the lobby and found his way to a door. He heard some strange noise coming from behind the door. He entered the room—the trophy room (all business trophies) and saw Mohia and the black-haired girl—now known as Esonia, fighting on the balcony. Mohia fiercely hit Esonia and she staggered backwards, injured. She drew her dagger and defended herself.

Max felt that something had to be done to stop the fighting. He wanted to negotiate the two out of the fight. He dashed forward and interrupted the fight, yelling to a surprised Mohia, “Don’t hit her!”

Mohia gazed at Max for a split second, and then he attacked him. Max pulled out his gun and defended himself. Esonia seemed surprised that someone would oddly come to her assistance, but she tried to conceal it. With the aid of Max, she was able to defeat Mohia. Mohia fled, using magic to burn Esonia on the right arm before he left.

Esonia got down and took out some bandage to cover her wound. Max watched her. She was skillful and he could tell that she often got hurt. He felt uncomfortable to just watch and do nothing. He offered to help her and stepped forward. To his surprise, the young woman drew her dagger and pointed it at him, “Don’t come any closer.”

He raised his hands, “I mean no harm. I just want to help you.”
“Who are you?” she asked, suspicious.

“I’m Max Tra Veller.” He introduced himself.

“Why are you helping me? Which side are you on?” She fired.

Max was puzzled, “I don’t know what sides are you talking about. I only helped you because I thought it was wrong of Mohia to beat someone up.”
Esonia tossed her head up and laughed, “You don’t know who I am, do you? You don’t know why Mohia is after me yet. Other wise, you won’t be here to help me.”

“What did you do to make Mohia want to kill you?” Max asked.

“That’s a long story. You’d better not ask.” Esonia snapped sharply.

“Okay.” Max nodded, “But first, let me help you with the bandage.” Before she could react, he touched her injured arm as gently as he could to avoid hurting her. He helped her dress the wound.

She stood up and headed out the room, “Whoever you are, thank you for assisting me. However, I’m not looking forward to seeing you again anytime soon in the future.”

That was a strange statement. She disappeared before Max could figure out what that meant. There was nothing left for Max to do and so he just slipped outside, hoping that he would not attract any more attention than he had already done. He managed to escape to the taxi terminal unnoticed. He got into a taxi. The driver was a bit surprised to see him and said to him, “Oh, they’ve finished checking your identification, right?” Max was puzzled, (What happened to this place?) but he knew better than to ask.

The driver had just started the vehicle. Then, all of a sudden, a blonde girl (Hey, it’s Heidis!) rushed in front of the car and the driver immediately braked. She, to everyone’s surprise, ran to the taxi door and opened it, pushing the driver out. She got onto the driver’s seat and sped away. Max was still too taken aback to react.
