Stage Five: Titian City

Stage: 1 ; 2 ; 3 ; 4 ; 5 ; 6......>>

They evacuated, leaving Felin lying injured on the floor. Then, they ran down the stairs and out of the building. (*One important tip: Heal the injured members, refill the party¡¦s HP and revive fallen comrades¡Kanother battle is coming!!*)

There was, surprisingly, a secret passage that led to the second floor of the City Hall. A teenage boy with long blue hair came into the view. He paced downstairs and when he saw the fallen Felin, he walked up to kick the injured Tigas. Felin groaned in pain and got up to see who kicked him. He seemed surprised, ¡§It¡¦s you?¡¨
The teenager laughed. ¡§You and Mohia are just the same.¡¨

¡§What do you mean?¡¨ Felin was agitated.

¡§You are both losers.¡¨ The teenager replied, ¡§The PN Centre does not need you anymore. Go home. Leave Esonia and Heidis to me.¡¨
¡§What¡¦s that you¡¦re saying?¡¨ Felin was really fuming, ¡§Did you say I¡¦m a loser? You ##@%! Come fight with me and see who¡¦s the loser!¡¨ He stood up, but then his war wounds pained him very much and he crouched to the floor. There was no way he could even kill a rat.

¡§I¡¦m not going to fight against losers.¡¨ The teenager said arrogantly, ¡§So long.¡¨ He opened a window and leapt down there. He landed behind our heroes. ¡§Freeze!¡¨
Heidis turned back and yelled in alarm, ¡§Zephaniah!¡¨

Esonia showed a shocked expression. But there was no time for hesitation. The battle began right away.

BOSS BATTLE:  ZEPHANIAH KNIGHT

The battle starts with Zephaniah attacking Esonia first. Once again, Heidis and Esonia must be in the battle. This time, I recommend using the strongest fighter as assistance to the girls, for instance Max¡Xbecause this battle is gonna be a hard one. Zephaniah is a tough fighter and was not easy to handle.

Heidis and Max (or anybody besides Esonia) will be greatly disadvantaged against Zephaniah since he is quick and he tends to get close to your party. But he is way smarter than you think. He knows he doesn¡¦t have an advantage over Esonia, and so his attack pattern goes like this: Esonia, Heidis, Esonia, Heidis, Esonia, Max, Esonia, etc¡KHe puts a lot of effort on draining Esonia¡¦s HP. You must watch out for Esonia and constantly refill her HP before she faints away.

Zephaniah is quick, and sometimes, he might successfully avoid Heidis and Max¡¦s attacks (but he can never get away from Esonia¡¦s attacks because they are both quick). You may need another tactic to defeat him¡Xmagic. He possess Earth-attribute magic, and so don¡¦t try to hit him with earth magic or you¡¦ll end up refilling his HP. Water-attribute and fire-attribute magic will be enough to slay him. As for Esonia, this time, choose a dagger.

(This battle ends in a real disappointment!) Heidis and co. didn¡¦t get a chance to beat Zephaniah before Felin came out and interrupted the fight. He attempted to attack Zephaniah but was blasted away with magic power. It¡¦s so unfortunate that we let Zephaniah got away before we could slice him¡K

Heidis and co returned to the ship. Yisa raised a question, ¡§So what do we do now? Though Felin is no longer our enemy, there¡¦s this new guy¡XZephaniah, and he¡¦s much stronger than Felin. What should be our next move?¡¨

¡§Let¡¦s notify Zada.¡¨ Max suggested. Heidis picked up the intercom and told Zada about the situation. Zada almost cried out in shock as Heidis mentioned the name Zephaniah. She became silent. Then, Cat snatched the intercom and asked, ¡§Esonia, are you okay?¡¨

¡§Yup, I guess.¡¨ Esonia replied, though she did not sound very sure.

¡§Then,¡¨ Zada said, ¡§return to the Underground City. We¡¦ll discuss another strategy.¡¨

¡§Wait!¡¨ Yisa shrieked as she pointed to the world outside the window. Everyone looked and was shocked to see what was before their eyes.

Heidis exclaimed, ¡§The whole of Titian City is on fire!¡¨

¡§Oh dear!¡¨ Yisa sighed, ¡§Did the Boss order Zephaniah to do that?¡¨

¡§What about those hostages? Where are they now?¡¨ Esonia remembered.

¡§I hope they didn¡¦t went back to their houses right away!¡¨ Heidis felt like screaming, ¡§This is so ironic! We can¡¦t let the Titian City burn down like what happened to the Vega City.¡¨ She said to the company, ¡§We must do something about it.¡¨

        ¡§Like what?¡¨ Esonia snapped, ¡§We can¡¦t go put out the fire.¡¨
Heidis argued, ¡§At least we might be able to help those innocent people down there escape.¡¨
Esonia had to agree. Max started the ship and headed to the fire. The wooded houses burned easily. Columns and roofs collapsed as if they were made of paper cards. Heidis made a suggestion, ¡§Max, I¡¦ll steer the ship. You can help rescue the people.¡¨ And quickly added, ¡§I won¡¦t speed, I promise.¡¨

Max let her take over. He instructed her to fly low. Then, the rest went to the end of the ship where they opened the hatch door. Some desperate citizens were reaching out their hands in hopes to be saved. The company didn¡¦t disappoint them. They helped the citizens on board the moving ship.
