The 27th book in the series, in which Tarl Cabot goes to the far south, and meets up with a rogue band of Urth girls, escaped from Gor proper, who have set up a home on the beach. Their constant whining and neediness send Tarl in search of a sleen to eat them. The girls fight off the sleen with their hair spray and perfume, and tell Tarl to get a life, and go to the store to get them more cosmetics. They also demand that he goes quickly, and comes back to entertain them, because they are bored. Tarl is in for one of his toughest missions when he has to buy feminine products for the girls, and finally can't take anymore, returning and slaying them all, winning the undying gratitude of all of Gor and being proclaimed a hero! |

They take a ship of acquisition to earth, stock up on Garlic, and return to drive the vampires away. |
