Ready for more cement...

Here we have something that is clearly recognizable as a garage with rooms above. They don't show clearly, but the piers for the new deck are in the ground about eight feet out from the foundation. They are solidly anchored, well below the frost line, and will probably outlast the house.

The final cement will arrive first thing in the morning.

Unfortunately, I can't show you the interior upstairs construction. They removed and boarded up the windows that used to look out into the new section. The next two shots should give you a good idea though.

In the picture below, you can see the frame of the new bedroom door. (I feel like an archaeologist describing some old Anasazi ruins.)
