Actually pretty difficult getting into the house tonight. The crew has excavated and started setting up the forms for the new foundation. The plank in the foreground is their access to the basement.

We're installing drainage tile all the way around the house to keep the basement dry.

The water from the drainage tile will run through a pipe in this ditch, to a culvert at the end of our old driveway.
