An increasingly large number of anecdotes
Oh this is a great picture from CONvergence 2003, which happened less than a week ago as I write this.  It has so many loose ends in it, it hurts.

The first arrow from the left points to Caly, who is part of sensor re: engine.  She's great and really talented.  The second arrow points to the narcoleptic girl from last year.  Thirdly is Amy who decided to shave her head for CON this year. And lastly of course, is Will.  I was so happy to find this picture.
You ask and you recieve!  Here, finally, is a picture of me.  Well, it's a picture of my back, really.  I'm wearing a bathrobe and a gasmask.  Nobody asked me what I was dressed up as, all weekend.  If they had I would have told them that I was envisioning Arthur Dent meets Fallout.

I like to think of it as being cautious but relaxed.  In this picture I'm walking into Vice City, which was the name of the video game / ice cream room, this year.  I believe you can see a very very blurry bit of EireGirl from edsroom in the background behind me, as well.  Okay, so it's not a very good anecdote.  Sue me, already.
Well isn't this something.  There's Amy on the right looking rather cute with her horns.  There's my ex, Sarah wearing the balloon hat.  Now I don't want to say Sarah made an ass of herself at Convergence this year, but she.. okay she made an ass of herself at Convergence.

She made a point to kiss just about everyone at the hotel.  She probably even kissed a shriner.  If you don't like rants, you should probably skip to the next page now, by the way.  Sarah pissed me off because she has a damned boyfriend.  He was at the convention.  Hell, he's a friend of Amy's and works at House of Toast. I can't decide whether or not Sarah was just behaving in this incredibly slutty and flirty manner to piss him off or whether she's finally gone off the deep end, and thinks that this is how she can be cool.

Sarah was cool before all this.  Now I'm not entirely sure.  She really got on my nerves with all this behavior and it made her far less fun to be around.  I found myself defending her all weekend, but I'm not sure I should have.  Maybe I just should've let her feel the repercussions of her own actions.
