| Patrice and Al hiking the beach between Trestle Creek and Tsusiat Falls. We've found the beaches version of the "sidewalk". It's the firm sand left by a receding tide. It is not too wet and not too dry. And it is a relief when one finds it. So much more pleasant than that sinking slipping sand.....and with a 60 pound pack on your back. |

| These are the ladders which descend to Tsusiat Falls. They and similar ladders intimidated some people. Perhaps the reason is obvious. |

| Tsusiat Falls is a very popular spot. We moved to the far south end of the beach and thought of ourselves as living in the "burbs". |
