| On the Juan de Fuca Express coming back up the coast we'd taken eight days to hike. Back to Bamfield in a few hours. These seals came off the rock at Carmanah Point to play with the boat. |

| And this is the rock off Carmanah Point. It was covered with Seals. Far more than can be seen in this picture. |
| So ended a really marvellous adventure on the West Coast of Vancouver Island. We traveled up the coast seeing many seals and three breeds of Whale. And we were anticipating our next hiking adventure on the Skyline Trail in Jasper National Park, Alberta. Wonderful mountain scenery ahead. |

| I was first on the West Coast Trail in August of '97 but had to leave the trail after four days with a head infection. I spent four days in rain and was soaked and muddy most of the time. However, I caught these two beautiful sunset pictures on that trip and felt I must include them here for those who love sunsets. |
