| As we approach Carmanah Point we can hear the ever present seals on a rock outcrop off the point. It's just one exciting thing after another and Patrice is enchanted as are we all. On the return journey via the Juan de Fuca Express we saw them close up as revealed in a later picture below. |

| On Day Five we hiked to Walbran Creek Campsite, Here we are beginning Day Six enroute from Walbran to Logan Creek. There are many bridges like this one made of a single tree. These can be treacherous when dry to say nothing of what they would be like when wet. But care and patience without rushing make it a great adventure and we are fortunate to continue without injury. |
