Here is a collection of some of my art work. If you move your mouse over the pictures they will pop up in a bigger window.

This was drawn in Art 11 and based on the poem "Lost Soul". We had to make album covers for either a song or a poem that we liked, and this is the one that I chose. It took me awhile to figure out what I was going to put on it, this is the result. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. I can't take all the credit for it, cause I had help with some of the drawings and the poem was written by someone else. The hand in the corner is actually my hand, and yes I had that long of finger nails at the time. I have since lost those finger nails and have not really gotten them back to that length, although I keep trying :) With the face and the hand the way that they are, it almost looks like he is coming out to get you. Either that or the person that he may be after, is trying to get out.



This one I drew after I got out of school. I was going for shading and highlighting. This one frustrated me to some extent, but I am pleased with the outcome. The picture may look familiar to some, cause it was taken from a magazine ad. Oh yeah, I'll tell you a secret about this one. If you look at it sideways, the woman looks disgusted at the thought of kissing the man :) (Check that out here) I drew this one cause after I painted the one I did in Art, I was told that I could have left it in pencil and drew more before I painted them. I wish the one that I painted had been kept in pencil cause it looked better than when it got painted. Also, the colour of the paint is not the greatest. I am not a big fan of red or yellow, or basically any plain colour. As you may see with my web page :) Purple is one of my favourite colours and that is what the can of paint said it was, only it turned out to be more of a pink colour. Oh well, I still like it :)



This is the one that I was talking about above. This one I drew and painted in Art 11 as well. We were learning how to shade and highlight using only one color. I ran out of my color so I was allowed to use a different shade of purple. It was also taken from a magazine ad, so you may have seen it somewhere before. I had help with one of the eyes. Eyes are one of my most difficult things to draw and apparently paint in shades and highlights :) I used India ink in the hair. We were supposed to use it for the blackest areas, only I couldn't on the shoulder down cause that would have been too much. The reason it is all black is because in the magazine ad, there is a girl right beside him casting a shadow over that part. I could have drawn her in there too, but I didn't want to. I still have all these pictures, obviously if I have them on here hey :) They are actually poster size. Well the two are. The Lost Soul cover is only about the size of a computer screen. I haven't really done anymore art since I got out of school. I try, but I don't seem to have the time. Some day I will. And I will add them to this collection :)

This collection of drawings I drew around the time of 1993 but I can't be sure. I do know that the Shane McDermott picture was drawn around the time that the movie Airborne came out. I do know that I drew the Joey Lawrence ones around the same time. I'm guessing that the Jared Leto was drawn in and around those same times.





The first two I drew in 1991. The flower in the bottle I drew around 1994 I believe. The first painting was done around 1990. The second and third paintings were done in 1994.
