What did I do to deserve this?
When is it going to be my turn?
God has the answer, he knows the ways of Satan. God wants us to let go of the Egypt in us.
Egypt is symbolic of an old way of thinking and being that grants Satan the legal right to choke life out of us with bitterness. Somebody has to change!
It is a decision that we all must make if we are to enter into His rest. God takes over our lives when we enter Jordan the place of decision. To decide to stay on Egypts' side of Jordan; or turn around in the middle of your journey to a new life and drown with Pharaoh and his army; or press forward into the Promise Land.
So, choose you this day whom you will serve. I hope you chose to go with Gods' plan, and not Satan's scheme. If you chose God, then walk right this way. This Shulammite maidens' testimony is of one who chose as you did God.
She had a dark past and secret sins prior to the seventh chapter of her testimony. But she went in search of the Lover of her soul. He responded to her right where she was. But, eventually, God stopped coming by the same way, and she had to move outside of her comfort zone to enter the rest in the Bride Grooms' chamber. She went into the chamber a novice, but just as Sarah, knew her husband; symbolic of being at the end of self, and needing a way that only God could make, she came out calling, Abraham; Lord. She maintain the change of status in their relationship in her heart!
