| David and I met in 1990 on a blind date, but love wasn't blind and we were married in 1992. Like most couples, we knew that we wanted a family. As the years progressed, we knew the our prayers for children were not to be answered by having biological children. Even medical science could not assist in this matter. For a short period of time we even considered that we would be content to be childless, but God had other plans. The longing for children never diminished and so we found ourselves looking at other alternatives. Our prayers for children were no longer about "having a baby" but were instead about fulfilling the longing to be parents. It wasn't long until adoption became the obvious answer. And so we began our adoption journey for our daughter, Leah Grace Page. |
