Waiting.....waiting.....waiting.....

The adoption process makes you good at waiting. Here are some highlights:

Enjoyed a wonderful holiday season with our families with the hopes that by next Christmas our daughter will be home with us. It was difficult not to imagine how much more fun we'll have with a little one for the holidays!

Nov - Dec 2001

In January 2002, Julie and I were able to meet for the first time when I flew to her home in PA. Needless to say, we had a wonderful visit!

Jan - Mar 2002

In April 2002, several of the Precious Pumpkins decided to meet to go on a shopping trip to Potomac Mills. Julie flew in to see me and spent a couple of extra days. On Friday, we drove to VA where we spent the night at Connie's house along with Caroline and Dawn. We were joined on Saturday for shopping by Di and Jen and their families.

Apr - Jun 2002

In May 2002, I had to go to Ireland on business and was able to take my Mom with me. We've enjoyed many special Mother-Daughter trips and this one was especially memorable!

Over the July 4th holiday, I was able to make another trip to PA to spend time with Julie! It was a wonderful, relaxing vacation.
