| This lion, and its partner stand outside of the Art Institute of Chicago. I like the fact that they put a wreath around his neck for Christmas. I also liked the way the snow covered the wreath and highlighted his face. In this image, you can see the snow coming down - as illustrated by the streaks most visible in the upper right corner of the photo. I would eventually like to get a shot that contains both of the lions, however, the Art Institute is undergoing major rennovations and the second lion has been placed off to the side for the past year or so while construction on the facade takes place. |
