Has it really been just a year? It seems we’ve been around much longer… Was it really just twelve months ago when I decided that an appropriate webpage to review for our debut issue was Redwall.org? that must mean that the incident where I raced to get a review in by the deadline while being prodded by the other two members of the NNC to "hurry up so we can play Tiberian Sun" was even more recent.

One year of Crimson Badger, searching for webpages, Martin Bashing, writing tips, awards, contests, art… all that you’ve grown to expect from Redwall Digest. Unfortunately, the fates can be cruel and school work can crowd out everything else. I seem to recall a certain review last spring that never happened for this exact reason. As a matter of fact, as I type, I’m debating as to whether I should finish this or get back to studying for my Chemistry midterm that I will be taking tomorrow morning. If you’re reading this, then I guess you know which I chose.

If you haven’t guessed it already, this is not a review. Instead, I’d like to direct you to other Redwall Ezines that you can occupy your time with after you’ve finished with our final issue.

Of course, as always, there’s Terrouge, but I don’t think they really need me to plug them. Lagomorphia is great for some laughs or making you even more paranoid than ever before. Some others you might like to visit include NorthShores E-zine, MossNews, Redwall Inside and The Redwall Comedian. I think my favorite will always be Redwall Online though.

Feeling ambitious? Try joining the staff of one of these ezines. It’s a great experience and I would definitely suggest trying it out, even if you just contribute a guest editorial. You never know… you could always end up with your very own section to rant.

If you’re intent on stalking me, you can always find me on the RFF. Or you can poke around my Side 7 gallery or my own website. I warn you though; I would rate my own website as POOR. I’m planning on fixing it up all nice (or at least setting up the Portal/Crossroads/Whatever I’m going to call it) this winter. Of course, that was my goal last year at about that time. Vicious cycle, this webpage thing.

With that, I’ll end my unfortunately brief section of the final issue of Redwall Digest. I hope you enjoy it; we’ve been talking about this one for a while. I’m definitely looking forward to reading it all!

So long, and thanks for all the fish.
