| This is my little page to muse/joke about the world as we know it (and in some cases, the world as we don't). If the line is attributed to anyone specific, I'll put it in parenthesis after the quote If anything you see here confuses you, don't feel bad. Forgiveness is divine. -There's a lot of pain deep down that we thought we've gotten over, when all we've really done is put a psychological band-aid over the wound and forgotten about it and they tend to open up again if we get poked too much. (J.T.) -The brash die boldly for a cause, while the wise live humbly for one. -When in doubt, go play DDR. (J.T.) -Life is a storm. It is what one does when that storm comes that makes you a man. (Gilbert) -The reason that altruism is so rare in this world is because there are so many people who make all of their efforts useless. (J.T.) -The purpose of the past is so you can look back on the good parts and smile, then paint over the ugly parts and make them into something useful. (J.T.) -Romance lives through repetition, and repetition converts an appetite into an art. Besides, each time that one loves is the only time one ever loves. Difference of object doesn't alter the singleness of passion, it merely intensifies it- for we can in life have but one great experience at best, and the secret of life is to reproduce that experience as often as possible. (J.T.) -The smallest choices are usually the most important. -The only purpose of horror movies is so guys can take their girlfriends to them and get some. (J.T.) -If you want to judge a man, do not look at how he treats his superiors, or even his equals. Look at how he treats his inferiors. -Pain heals, and all wounds go away eventually, but the scars they leave last a lifetime. -I don't care what you think. The glass is half full. (J.T.) -If you take an eye for an eye, the whole world would be blind. (Ghandi) -Stand up for what you believe in, and don't give ground unless you know in your heart that it's the right thing to do. -The most satisfaction I have ever received is the knowledge that my actions have better a life. Recognition or thanks is merely the icing on the cake. (J.T.) -Follow your directions. If you have no directions, follow the rules. If you have no rules, do the right thing. (my father) -Take risks. If you never put your neck out on the line and give it a shot, you will never do anything with your life. You may sit peacefully and never be hurt, but you will never be truly happy either. (J.T.) -Laughter only lasts a moment. Pain lasts a lifetime. But a good smile can last forever. (J.T.) -The old stories never tell if the hero was truly right, and that his enemies were truly wrong.
