MERCHANDISE
· Straw hats, small and medium
· With three gold courses, a central pro shop with more items would serve everyone.
· Should include club re-gripping and repair.
· Need some left-handed clubs
· Fair pro shop selection
· Limit golf shop with only gloves and balls
· Need more stuff.  If here I will buy – If not here I will shop elsewhere
· Logo clothing at a reasonable price.  Over $50 is NOT reasonable
· I like the pro shop clothing but for a retiree on fixed income most of it is too expensive
· Needed to rent left-handed clubs for a visiting friend – you don’t have such available.  Need to get
· Merchandise in the pro shop should be run by mgt. company – not CA.  Selection should be by a qualified buyer who can select appealing clothing that will sell and equipment that is needed and will sell.
· I’d like to see much more ladies clothing in pro shops; particularly jackets and windshirts, hats and visors
· Improve golf pro shop items
· A full range of sizes – not everyone is a size 2 or a size 18
· Where is the ladies clothing – not enough
· No larger ladies sizes (16W, 18W)
· Merchandise is sized for midgets.  No XXL’s for men or 10 or 12’s for women.
· How about some golf gadgets and gizmos – ball markers, stroke counters, etc.
· Why do we have to have IZOD – too expensive.  I was on committee to select medium price range clothes.  Where are they?
· Need half-gloves – no fingers
· Large sizes (ie, XL, XXL, XLT) not kept in stock – shirts and shoes
· Need summer items – hats, shirts
· Clubs – higher prices with discount than other retailers

MARSHAL PROGRAM
· The marshals I have run into are very courteous and helpful
· Marshal program is a waste of money and does not speed up play
· Improve marshal program by reducing the number and using only a few well-qualified marshals
· If marshal is on course he should have some authority to keep players moving
· Replace marshals with a mandatory GPS system
· The marshal program has improved pace of play
· Pace of play is adequate with the new marshal program when it is being used.  Before this new program the pace of play was totally unacceptable on most days
· The marshal program could be improved
· It would be nice to have non-intimidating marshals
· Need to reduce number of employees as marshals
· Eliminate marshal program.  If retained, use personnel outside Sun City to be marshals – not SC residents
· The marshals should be allowed to keep play moving at all costs
· Do away with the marshals as the program is today
· Marshals saying “hurry up” takes the fun out of the game.  Let’s slow down, raise the fees and everybody have fun

MISCELLANEOUS
· This is only my first year but look forward to playing more often
· Would like to see more organized mixed events and couples events especially like 4th of July or new Years, etc.
· A club meeting place is a necessity at each course, will promote a friendlier membership
· Lockers or meeting rooms for men and women to meet before and after play
· Starter at 1st hole should explain privileges to each group:
· No tee off at “tips” unless 10 hcp down.
· Dispose of cig/cigar butts someplace besides around greens (same problem
· exists outside Accents)
· Time looking for lost balls held to 3-5 min or wave following group through
· Are alternate course closing necessary?  Makes a mess of Mondays!
· Get a Country Club atmosphere and facilities.  Not a public course – only for tournaments
· I do not want the condition and maintenance of our golf courses to deteriorate.  I would pay higher fees, if necessary, to prevent this from happening
· Tear down the cracker box houses on WW #6 and #7 and build decent homes
· Why not start a “pick up a rock” program at WW.  If you go in the rough, pick up a rock and deposit it at the next tee box.  Within a year we could clean up all the rocks in the rough.  The workers could pick up the rocks once a week.
