| Nigeria was a profound time for me and I truly enjoyed myself and learned so much about life. We were also under military curfew for the entire time we were there due to Christian-Muslim conflicts/fighting that erupted a few weeks before we went. It was tremendously saddening to see a city previously so peaceful become violent. I made some incredible friends there and will forever be changed by my experience there.
