At the age of 22 Kari Wuhrer has sevred Princess Lilo as one of her most loyal hand maidens for 10 years.
She was born on the planet of Duodena the central planet of the Confederates nervous system. He parents died at a young age and she turned to public service and eventually became a body guard for the Princess. She sometimes takes on the role of Princess to hide the identity of Lilo, as too the other hand maidens.
Public service became her life and all other relatives were left by the wayside. However this all changed when she first met Haako apprentice Thomas J. Nightmare. They shared the evening on Duodena the day before Nightmare and Java Master Bruce Skychannel were going to attempt to rescue Princess Lilo from the evil clutches of Dark Lord of the Overdraft Large Banker.
The two Java returned successfully. Kari's and Thomas J's relationship grows quickly and soon they are together tightly bounded by a love so strong that they seem to be one.
When the Establishment land their attacking forces on Duodena, Kari is stuck in Blur City, and against the orders of his master Thomas J. flies to Blur City to rescue her and help Kari to escape the vile clutches of the Hurricane Troopers. Thomas J. makes sure that she is on a transport out of the Comos System and then returns to the fight to hold the Establishment off so that everyone can get away.
Nightmare's Landspeeder is shot down and he is captured and brought back to the base. He finds out that Kari failed to leave. She is brought out to watch Thomas J. be executed.
She is then taken away with Emperor Sanitarium. She then gives birth to Nightmare's son Ewan, onboard the Death Cigar. Sanitarium wishes to train him in the ways of the Dark-Forz. Kari attempts to stop him but they are seperated.
However Princess Lilo, had prepared a daring plan to rescue her most loyal hand maiden. A group of her most elite soldiers secretly landed on the Death Cigar and with the help of two Java Masters Ben Karoke and Kitster not only Kari is rescued but so too Ewan.
The Death Cigar is destroyed and the Confederates celebrate. Kari returns to service after a couple of years as her son, becomes the new Haako apprentice to Bruce Skychannel.
Kari has brief encounters with her son, and tells him all about his father. The Java council then but Ewan in charge of protecting the Princess after many assassination attempts that have almost taken her life. During one attack on the Princess a Java Knight appears intime to save Ewan and Kari from certain death. This person is Thomas J. Nightmare.
The out pour of emotions from Kari to her lover is overwhelming. All together again the entire Nightmare family take part in the Shadow Wars.
However the family is once again broken up when Thomas J. is mortally wounded, before destroying the Pith Lord Darf Bald. Nightmare's death is mourned by her for years.
Nightmare's dying words to Kari were "I will always love you".
Kari eventually replaces Princess Lilo as Queen on the Confederacy and rules to the age of 62 when she retires to return to Duodena where she is believed to have died at the age of 87. |
