The Deck

Zinga has ample deck space and fairly low superstructures. The boats decks are teak laid GRP, and were completely renewed in the winter 2005/06, using the ÒdutchÓ system (15mm teak glued on 15 mm epoxied marine plywood) All her superstructures (roof, cockpit etc) were also repainted at that time with two components polyurethane paint and anti skid where needed.

Deck equipment includes:

* Electric anchor windlass Lofrans Tiger on 10 mm chain. * Smaller aft electric windlass with horizontal chain and rope gipsy (new 2006) * 50lbs CQR main anchor * Aluminium fortress spare anchor * Full set of large fenders * Stainless sreel railings with two gates. * Passerelle (Gangway) * Swim ladder * Davits * Full cockpit Bimini  (new 2005) * Large dodger (new 2005) * Lines and warps * 2 self tailing cockpit winches * 2 small cockpit winches * Stainless steel steering wheel

The  decks are fitted with numerous hatches ; the front hatch provides access to the chain locker which is separated from the rest of the boat by a water tight bulkhead. Warps and lines are stored in there as well. The fore and aft roof are well fitted with teak grab rails. The liferaft is stored on a cradle on the aft roof. The large lazarette contains the generator and all the spare equipment.
