| Newport Isle of Wight Football Club has seen many changes since its formation back in 1888. This web site hopes to deliver a potted look at year by year events. The club is now entering is 115th year and as such, given the ammount of events to have taken place, you'll understand that most of officials and indeed many of the players aren't mentioned. The main aim is to look to how the club as a whole has developed since its humble beginnings right through to the present day. The club is bigger than any individual and as such, is the subject being viewed, it however is made up of lots of individuals, the old, the young and the many now sadly deceased, their contribution to the clubs welfare, history, indeed its existance is thankfully acknowledged.
